Today I finally got my ticket. Unforrtunately there were some further complications. It turned out that the airline is actually using a different software to calculate the miles then my travel-agent.

So while I thought that I was just under the 34K miles, I was really, according to Lufthansa, 10 miles over the limit - again. So I had to buy an extra ticket for the flight Rangoon -> Chiang Mai now. Not ideal, but still 50 Euros cheaper then flying from Bangkok to Luang Prapang. But of course I will not be in Luang Prapang either! Ah, well, Chiang Mai is supposed to be pretty interesting as well. Oh - and btw: Now that I have my ticket I completed the "Travel Route" page!
