This day's a NIGHTMARE!

What a fucking stupid day! Tonight I'm having my farewell-party and nothing seems to work the way it' supposed to! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

First I'm getting an email from Amazon.de telling me that the xmas-present I had ordered for Steffen and that was supposed to be delivered today is unfortuantely out of stock! And they are telling me that today. Four days before xmas! Are they out of their fucking minds?

Then I go shopping and try to pay with my EC-card. Surprise, it doesn't work! So I pay cash, no problem. But the card doesn't work in the next shop either and it doesn't work in my bank! Turns out the card is demagitized. Probably because I accidentally held it against the door-opener at work. And here is the fun part: It will take at least seven, probably working days until I'll get a new card. But by that time I'll be in Yangon! And they cannot send it anywhere except to my home-address. Besides, where would they send it? I don't have a permanent address? I now send an email to Citibank in bangkok asking them whether they could hold the card for me if my mom forwards it there. But I'm not actually too keen on having send my card to Bangkok. Just great!

And to top things off, a friend of mine from work is calling me and telling me about yesterdays xmas party at work. He said that unfortunately the wine was finished rather quickly but fortunately there was this "stash" in the room we call the aquarium. That was the wine for my farewell-party on monday! And how am I gonna get the additional wine there while I'm working and without a car? Besides, mondays party already cost me 110 Euros and to be honest I don't want to spend any more. Fuck, fuck fuck! I just hope that my party tonight makes up for all this shit!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Current comments:

Sounds like a nightmare - you did hide it well in the evening, we didn´t notice a thing and it was a successful party indeed! Take all the wine people gave you to the party on monday - and let your colleagues contribute as well - after all, they´ve already drunk what you provided!!
Cheers, have a great end of the year and GOOD LUCK for the following 355 days...
