The strange toilet-experience

I just had the weirdest experience in a toilet in a bar in Vientiane. I had heard about this happening before, but this is the first time it actually happened to me: Just as I was starting to wash my hand, I felt something warm and wet in my neck.

No, this is not a jail-bird shower fantasy. They have a guy in the toilets who gives you a massage while and after you are washing your hands. So this guy - without warning (why would he warn me, it's normal for him, right?) throws a small wet towel in my neck, grabs me from behind through my armpits, locks his ands behind my head and starts to twist my back! Now, if anyone had though about robbing me - this would have been the ideal point of time. He then kneaded my back, slapped my shoulder blades and made other things that still keep my back glowing with warmth. I was a bit unsure whether and how much I should give him (after all, tipping is not common in Laos) so I decided to give him 2,000 kip. But jez - that was weird!

Well, it's almost time for bed - my bus to Savannakhet leaves at 07.00 tomorrow morning so I have to be at the bus station at 06.30. Uaaaah.
