Nana and Naja arrived in Siam Reap! Damn - it's so nice to see them again! Of course we had to celebrate our reunion with a beer or three or four so that I don't really feel like looking at temples today.

Instead we decided to meet at the "Body Tune" massage place (on Pub street, a place I can really recommend) later today for some relaxation. Though actually my hangover is not as bad as I would have deserved.

Yesterday I spent some time at the Angkor Wat-temple with some people from a German conservation project. The German embassy had recommended that I'd go there and it really is quite interesting. They are trying to conserve the carved surfaces of the temple, especially the Apsaras, female dancers that have been carved into the stone. It was very interesting since they showed me parts of the temple that I certainly would have overlooked.
