If you talk to anyone who's spent some time in Kalgoorlie then he or she is bound to nod wisely and say something like: "It's...special.". And hell - I certainly won't disagree. In a way, Kalgoorlie is everyting you'd expect from a miners town. It's a bit rough, a bit gruffy and in a way very much a "real mans" place.
