It's my birthday! It's my birthday! O.k. - posting this here on the internet might sound like I'm a bit desperate for people wishing me all the best, but what the hell? It is my birthday after all!

So I'm 31 now and officially an old fart. I'm now also too old to get a working holiday visa in any country I know of. But you know what - I don't really care about being 31. I'm in Australia, I'm travelling around the world and I'm having one of the best years of my life!

Calls from home

I also got three calls already. One from my mother, one from Steffen and on from my good and dear friend Nino. That really warmed my heart after getting up slightly hungover this morning. I did not really party until dawn and I won't do so today either, but I had a few beers with some people here in the hostel and since it was "2 for 1"-night I drank a few more beers, than I normally would have. I might go for a nice lunch today (like, in a proper restaurant with cutlery and a table-cloth, you know) and then in the evening it's back to the course. Doesn't sound like the most exciting day? Well, it probably isn't. But you know what: I'm having the most exciting year of my life. So who care about a particular day?
