It seems like the car liked me more than I ever realized. Either that or I just had the most uncanny feeling for when to sell the car and to whom. Why? Because the guy who bought the car sent me this txt-message: "The car blew up after 30 minutes of use". Ooops.

Apparently the starter motor actually exploded. How weird is that? After having served me for almost 15.000 kms, the car explodes half an hour after I've sold it? Of course I do feel a bit bad about it and really sorry for the guy but I really couldn't foresee this. And he could have had it checked out by a mechanic.

I thought briefly about simply pretending that I'm not in Syndey any longer but in the end my conscience got the better of me and I offered him to throw in some money for the repair. But strangely enough I haven't heard from him since! And of course I didn't really feel like pushing this offer on him. If he doesn't contact me about it I'm definitely not gonna contact him. As a matter of fact I hope that he might have lost my mobile number and I'm avoiding the area where he stayed (after all, this guy is pretty big).
