All loved-up in Christchurch

I can't remember when was the last time that I spent as many days with as little sleep. I've basically been awake constantly since I came to Christchurch, with only two or three hours of sleep thrown in every day. And I'm feeling great! I think it's all those endorphines that are cruising through my body that keep me all high and happy and running around with a mad grin on my face. The reason: a woman! Or rather - two!

Trust me to make things complicated, ey? But it's actually slightly different from what you think. It's just that I met up with Caroline again, an incredibly nice girl from Ireland and through her I met Julie, an almost equally loveable girl from England! The two of them are simply some of the nicest girls on earth!!! I just couldn't stop hugging them and dancing with them, flirting with them and hanging out with them. We simply had a brilliant time together, even though nothing more happened - though I certainly wouldn't have minded ;-). But it wasn't to be and it's all good. Really, really, really good. I was just so incredibly happy in their company full of energy and actually quite bouncy as well :-). Unfortunately Caroline just left for Sydney so that the dynamic trio is down to two. And something tells me that sleep will eventually catch up with us today so that we might not be able to go for yet another heavy night. But who knows how long those endorphines will carry me :-)?

Nitrous Oxide - the brain rush for you and me...

Speaking of natural drugs: I tried "NOX" for the first time yesterday, that is Nitrous Oxide (N20), better know as laughing gas. It's sold over the counter in some bars and clubs here and is really quite fun: You get a balloon of NOX and then you inhale the gas and exhale it into the balloon again and inhale it again and so on and so on. As you do this, you get a mild tingly feeling and get something like a "brain-rush" when the world drops away for a few seconds. It's not scary though, but really quite pleasant. The whole thing lasts less than a minute and is quite safe - so don't worry mom :-).
