Description: Pol Pot, the leader of the Khmer Rouge, lived his last years in a hut near the village of Anlong Veng. After his death his body was burned on tires. Later a grave and even a shrine was erected for the man who was responsible for the death of millions. The reason for his death remains mysterious since he died only hours before he should have gotten arrested by UN-Troops. Many people suspect that the Thai secret service killed Pol Pot. His house was less than 500m away from teh Thai border.
